Doug Milholland worked with two contractors while in Uganda to repair 4 hand-pump wells in Waksio Sub-County. Some of these wells needed major repairs but other were fixed with basic maintenance such as removal of a stone from a well shaft. Community members who has been without clean water for as much as several year, were eager to help with repairs. This photo is of children gathered at the site of one well.
